Head-hopping
It's a common error: beginning writers tend to slip in and out of their character's point of view (POV) and either mix multiple viewpoints in their narrative (called “head-hopping”, when we are first in one POV and then another) or might insert an authorial point of view into the narrative. How can you avoid making these mistakes?
